Outfit Wedding 4/5

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been writing so much lately but I was enjoying my last days in France with family and friends. I flew back to Finland on Friday and headed right away on saturday to our 4th wedding of the Summer. We went to Porvoo, which I love. The married couple chose a FABULOUS venue: Onni Hotelli*. Even if I have been many times in Porvoo and especially visit the old town, I was never in that great cafe, hotel Onni. So Finnish friends, if you want to organize wedding, birthday or any kind of event, this place is GREAT. I will try to show you in the pictures I took how nicely it was.
We were lucky with the weather yesterday and I was happier because I knew that I had 'color block' outfit. It was simple, but to be honest, I loved it! What do you say?

Fr: Bonjour mes amis, comment ça va? Désolée de ne pas avoir donné beaucoup de nouvelles ces derniers temps mais je profitais des derniers jours en famille et avec mes amis en France. J'ai pris mon avion vendredi soir (avec beaucoup de retard a cause de la météo). Je suis partie directement samedi matin à Porvoo ou nous avions le quatrième mariage de l'été! Le couple avait choisi un endroit MAGNIFIQUE. J'ai déjà été énormément de fois à Porvoo et particulièrement pour marcher en vieille ville mais bizarrement je n'avais jamais été dans cet hotel-cafe Onni*. L'endroit est fabuleux, très glamour avec des chandeliers partout sur fond de blanc et doré. Si vous passez par Porvoo, je vous conseille vivement de vous arrêter a Onni Café et éventuellement de demander une visite de l'hotel. C'est juste en face de l'Eglise en vieille ville, vous ne pouvez pas le louper (tout près d'une petite chocolaterie).    En bref, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Il faut dire que samedi était très ensoleillé et que ça a bien aidé ma tenue 'color block'. Qu'est ce que vous pensez d'Onni? Et de ma tenue? Bisouuuus

Wedding outfit 2/5

Hi guys, I just came back from Kauhava where we were attending the second wedding of the Summer (3 more coming up ...). We had nice time and enjoyed the spa hotel very much! I knew the weather would be sunny, so once again I went for a 'light' outfit. As my dress was very simple, I decided to add the hat to look little 'fancier'! You have already seen the hat because I have it on my profile picture but I'm absolutely crazy about it. It is a Kirsi Nisonen hat, who is a Finnish designer and I would advise anyone to check on her creations! I also had orange nail polish (everyone has understood that pink/orange are the colors of this Summer), which also allowed me to match my boyfriend's orange tie)

Fr: Hello hello, je reviens seulement d'un mariage qui a eu lieu a Kauhava, prés de Seinajoki (milieu de la Finlande, cote Ouest). C'était le second mariage de l'été, trois de plus a venir!
Pour ce mariage comme pour le premier, je savais qu'il allait faire chaud, voire très chaud (oui il peut faire chaud en Finlande, et beaucoup plus chaud qu'en France en ce moment parait-il) donc j'ai misé sur un ensemble assez léger. Ma robe était très simple donc j'ai décidé de forcer un peu plus sur les accessoires, avec mon chapeau notamment!
Qu'est ce que vous en pensez?  

Wedding Outfit

Hi there. It's Summer and we all have already 2 or 3 weddings planned for the upcoming week ends. You might be happy, you might be pissed, it's still one more reason to go for a good shopping. Weddings are sweet because you can 'dare' more (but watch out the 'too much' though)!
I already went to one wedding (French bride & Finnish groom) = GREAT combo! The wedding was organized in Paris where the couple lives and around 50 Finnish people made the move from Helsinki to Paris to celebrate, including us! For one week, a little Helsinki was growing in Paris :)

Anyway, fashion wise, I think we are all very tired of the dark, snowy and long Winter we had here in Finland, which is why I don't want anymore of those black, grey and beige colors! I needed colors this Summer and I wanted a super colorful dress for the wedding. Good news, I found it!

I bought this Tulip Flower dress from Zara, blue pump shoes from H&M (I went for blue shoes, but I also love the purple that Olivia chose!), Ordning & Reda transparent clutch + Zara wallet pink and orange (Zara wallet inside the transparent clutch: I loved it!). I had H&M nailpolish Going Bananas and Topshop sunglasses (bought in Helsinki 10, on the left on the picture).

And for jewellery, I only had ring: green Baccarat ring on one hand, and H&M orange ring on the other one. I didn't put that many jewellery on because I figured that the flower dress was already enough! 

After all, I wanted colors, but I didn't want to look like Christmas Tree :)

PS: I always loved the Linda Farrow sunglasses realized in collaboration with Alexander Wang (wore by Le Blog de Betty), and I found almost replicas in Seppälä for 3,98 Euros on sales, instead of 248,40 Euros here!

Fr: Hello hello. J'expliquais ci-dessus que cet été, comme chaque été, nous avons toutes et tous des mariages prévus. J'ai raison? Et voila encore une bonne raison d'aller faire un peu de shopping, d'autant que les mariages, c'est encore un peu plus fun que les soirées normales, on peut se permettre beaucoup! Mais attention au 'too much' quand même ...


Cet été, j'ai décidé de me tourner vers la couleur. J'en ai très marre des robes noires, bleu marine, beiges, etc. Je voulais de la couleur, c'était décidé. Et j'ai trouvé la robe parfaite chez Zara. Une robe très colorée, fleurie, qui a fait son effet! J'ai ajouté a ca des escarpins bleus de chez H&M (même si j'aime beaucoup les escarpins violets d'Olivia!). J'ai aussi acheté une pochette transparente Ordning & Reda dans laquelle j'ai inséré un portefeuille rose et orange trouvé chez Zara. Un petite vernis jaune (going bananas) de chez H&M et des lunettes de soleil Topshop! 
Qu'est ce que vous pensez de ma combinaison? Je sais, pas de photo ou tout y est, seulement une photo de la robe et des chaussures, mais je vous ai fait un petit montage pour que vous puissiez vous imaginez l'ensemble!
En ce qui concerne les accessoires, je ne me suis pas encombrée. Effectivement, je me suis dit que la robe faisait son impression! J'ai simplement ajouté une bague orange H&M a une main, et une Baccarat verte a l'autre.


Et dernier petit détail, j'ai trouvé a Helsinki des lunettes de soleil chez Seppälä en soldes qui sont très similaires aux Linda Farrow/Alexander Wang que j'adore. Donc si vous vous trouvez a Helsinki avant la fin des soldes et que vous êtes intéressées, allez faire un petit tour!
